About us

Roger Armstrong [March, 1943 - January, 2024] the founder of Westburys, qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1967 becoming a Fellow in 1988. His initial experience was gained in commercial property working in the investment valuation department of the West End office of Jones Lang Wootton and then on City of London developments with Richard Ellis. This was followed as a director of a residential property development company operating in the prime central London areas of Knightsbridge, Kensington & Chelsea.

He took over the practice of Westburys in 1982 and gained extensive experience in the valuation and sale of London residential property. He presented his first case to the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal in 1993 (1967 Act). Roger died in January 2024 and we are proud to continue his legacy as he wished.
